Managing Panic Attacks Quickly

Posted by: portfeed In: Acid Reflux

Managing panic attacks using Emotional Freedom Technique is both a natural and safe way to overcome anxiety disorders such as agoraphobia and social anxiety. Acupuncture, hypnotherapy and aromatherapy are considered unconventional or alternative Cures For Panic Attacks.

The Emotional Freedom Technique is very similar to other meridian therapies such as Acupuncture. Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine technique which has been practiced for centuries and works by positioning needles directly on the meridian system in the body to rebalance energy or chi flow.

The science behind Emotional Freedom Technique is comparable to acupuncture. Because EFT works directly on meridian points on the body, a person can often experience immediate positive effects physically and emotionally. The use of needles is not required, but instead you stimulate the major meridian points on your body by rhythmically tapping on them with your fingertips.

What we feel emotionally affects us physically and what we feel physically affects us mentally. Stress can be felt emotionally and physically, and can be seen as a disturbance of energy flow in the body. Harmful build up of chemicals such as adrenaline and stress hormones then lead onto anxiety and Panic symptoms.

Practicing the tapping sequence brings about balance in the energy system, releasing built up stress hormones and adrenaline, which relieves symptoms of anxiety and stress. When stimulating the meridian points the person must use positive statements in combination. Since EFT deals with underlying cause; both the emotional pain and the energy system simultaneously, anxiety which can often feed itself, can be stopped in it’s tracks.

More and more people are using EFT and reaping the benefits of this simple and natural technique. EFT isn’t just effective at emotional issues and managing panic attacks. It’s also effective at dealing with physical pain. It’s also easier than you think, in fact you don’t need to know anything about meridian points to learn the how to apply this technique. You can find lots of free information out there on the Internet showing you tapping sequence in detail.

The tapping sequence is just half of the EFT practice the other half is about focusing and acknowledging the problem. Make a mental note of the problem you want to solve or put it down on paper before you start the tapping. It is important to use self accepting and positive language when using affirmations. For a person to grown and love others they must first learn to love themselves.

Managing panic attacks with EFT is very convenient and easy since it can be practiced at any moment. When you experience the first signs of anxiety, apply the technique for quick relief. Feel free to adapt the affirmations to your needs. Some people may feel a little self-conscious practicing EFT in public but you’d be surprised how little people pay attention.

EFT doesn’t promise 100% success rate, but it’s important to apply it regularly to see significant results. If it fails to work the first few times, try again, some problems need a lot more work. Don’t be afraid to use the technique for other physical and emotional problems. Your energy system will improve in time by practicing it routinely.
