HGH Replacement Treatment Therapy - Helping You Along Your Menopause Symptoms

Posted by: portfeed In: Health

Hormone replacement therapy can give some much needed assistance to decrease the distress menopause can cause to the body. These symptoms are due to the body aging and producing less estrogen. This treatment has been prescribed for many years. This therapy can use one or more medications to help balance the estrogen levels in the body.

This treatment is predominantly prescribed to women entering menopause for short-term use to relieve the problems associated with the onset of it. By short term, this would be considered one year, although some women can get it for up to five years. It has also been used on younger women who have had a hysterectomy or other medial condition that requires hormone replacement for longer-term treatment.

Hormone replacement therapy, or HRT as it is often referred by, can protect a woman’s body from osteoporosis. It has been shown to help reduce the risk of heart disease and colorectal cancers. It has even been shown that it can help to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease.

Essentially, this treatment is a cocktail of one or more synthetic estrogen replacements. Commonly it contains estrogen with synthetic progesterone, and sometimes can even include low doses of testosterone. Although made in a laboratory, once these have been added to the body’s system, they will be absorbed as a naturally produced hormone, not as a chemically altered one.

A major study has been done on the use of HRT as a treatment for menopause, and they concluded that there are some serious risks involved in using them. If this is an option that your doctor gives to you, express any concerns and ask questions to fully understand this as a treatment option. If you are taking it, then before you stop treatment you should talk to your doctor as well. While the risks are real, the benefits and risks of the hormone replacement therapy need to be assessed on an individual basis.

You may have a greater chance for having gall bladder disease and increased blood pressure while taking an HRT. If you have a family history of breast cancer, this can increase the risk for that. Speak to your doctor and become educated about all the risks associated with this therapy, and ask how they apply to you personally based on your own medical past and family history.

Even though the testing has proven there to be risks, HRT is still the best treatment for exceptionally bad menopausal symptoms. Low doses can help relieve night sweats and hot flashes that may cause you to find sleeping difficult. This therapy can decrease the need to urinate often and other complaints with the bladder and it can help to keep the vaginal muscles in shape and retain moisture there.

While hormone replacement service are not a choice for everyone, it can be a good option to relieve symptoms with menopause. Talk to your doctor and have a good understanding of the risks and benefits. This can be a very good human growth hormone therapy for menopause, and can give you relief when there seemingly is none.

HRT has helped me and many of my menopausal friends with menopausal issues like mood, night sweats and hot flashes. There are natural rememdies like wicking pajamas and black cohash that can help, but HRT seems to be a good option for many women.
