Probably The Simplest Vision Exercise To Correct Your Eyesight

Posted by: portfeed In: Health

There’re a lot of vision exercises out there that you could undertake to enhance your eyesight. Some of them are surely worthy, some are just alright, and others are only a waste of time. How do you distinguish which is which?

That is my puzzle 2 years ago. Ever since then, I’ve carefully tried any of the vision exercises I am aware of and charted my progress. How do they fare? My result surprised me.

20% of the vision therapy I tried was responsible for 80% of my progress. I take note of these eye exercises and grouped them to what I named “the basics”. Those eye exercises, I think, are the focus of any vision strengthening regime.

In this post, I would like to show you one of these eye exercises. It is named “palming”. It may sound too simple but trust me, it works. It works like the following:

Make sure you’re not standing for this eye exercises. Close your eyes and softly place your palms on them, so that you could see no light. Imagine the tense in your neck and shoulders are dissipating. Think of something that relaxes you. It could be any one thing. A sandy beach? A quiet garden surrounded by enormous field of blossoms, maybe.

When you palm, make sure you set a countdown watch hence you don’t worry how long you’ve been doing it. Palm for a whole 10 minutes, three times everyday. Once when you wake up in the morning, once during your break from work and once just prior to you go to sleep.

Palming at the beginning of the day allows you to insert an expectation for the rest of the day. The one in the afternoon allows your eyes to take a break and moderate stress. While the one in the evening loosen your eyes and readies it for sleep.
