Warts are caused by viral infections of the skin. In some cases warts are just a nuisance, but warts can be unsightly and can interfere with work when they affect the hands or feet. Certain occupations - notably butchers - tend to develop warts on the hands which are thought to be related to their work. Warts on the hands can be a problem for those who work closely with the public, for example servers, nurses, doctors and dentists. Warts on the feet can hobble letter carriers, and interfere with sports like golf and hockey. Warts are transmitted by skin to skin contact, although plantar warts may well be transferred from moist floors.

There are different types of wart but except you are a dermatologists I do not intend to bore you with going into that. For example if I say, “Most warts on the hands, verruca vulgaris, plantar warts, and plane warts…….. Some of the genital warts have been associated with carcinoma of the cervix, Bowenoid papulosis, and Bowen’s disease”. You will agree with me that all that may be a little above your head
However until recently, the only treatment for warts was to burn the warts off, either with caustic chemicals or with high frequency electric current; these procedures are however expensive. Both treatments were very reliable, but both treatments were quite unpleasant.

Sometimes warts go away without any treatment. When this happens, it is thought to result from activation of the immune system, causing recognition and destruction of the warts. Over the past couple of years, researchers in the United States have shown that injections of antigen can often stimulate the immune system to recognize and attack warts. Some kind of cream can occasionally be effective when applied to warts. It works by boosting the skin’s immune system which attacks the virus; of course the issue of how affordable they are comes into play again.
Within the past year, a highly effective vaccine against the wart virus is been researched and it is hoped that this will be commercially available soon. Perhaps some day we will have protective vaccines (and perhaps even therapeutic vaccines) against the viruses which cause warts on the hands and feet and other parts of the body.
But before then, a friend of mine who has been hosted on several TV programs has come up with an amazing alternative to such vaccine for treating warts. Interesting this alternative treatment as recommended by several dermatologists has been around for quite some time and they have ruled that is by far the best treatment for warts.
Don’t get me wrong there a few things you could do to treat your warts but what if I told you they may not make sense to you, again another example; what if wrote this…….
Treatment:
• Papillomatous warts respond very well to liquid nitrogen cryotherapy.
• Lesions on the digits of children can also respond to topical cantharidin, with expected blister formation.
• Plantar warts can be treated with 40 % salicylic plasters, or topical solutions containing salicylic acid. Response is faster if the whitened macerated wart tissue under the plaster is pared away as with a #15 scalpel blade, before each topical treatment with the salicylic acid preparation
Again this goes over an average person’s head until like I said before a vaccine is made available where I could just walk into a store and purchase it until then.
So you have 2 options; one is to wait for the vaccine that is been researched or go right over to my friend who renowned dermatologists all over the world have recommended to get the amazing alternative treatment. You owe it to yourself to at least check out my friend.
